Commercial law is a branch of law that governs relationships between individuals and encompasses legislation relating to commerce. Compiled in 1956 under Law No. 6762, and comprising branches such as the Capital Markets Law and the Bank and Credit Cards Law, the general concepts of Commercial and Company Law include merchant, commercial enterprise, commercial register, trade name, unfair competition, commercial books, current account, commercial brokerage and agency.

All activities carried out by individuals and organisations in the economic sphere are, in fact, regarded as commercial activities within the legal framework. As commercial relationships become increasingly complex, it is not only necessary to anticipate disputes arising from them and take appropriate precautions, but also to assess the resolution of such disputes with greater care. GGP Law and Consultancy provides consultancy and commercial litigation services through its team of commercial and corporate lawyers specialising in Commercial and Company Law.
